I'm looking for some forums on how to unlock my Huawei E1552 from Globe Telecom. I got this link where it provides me several ways on how to unlock it on my own. Fortunately I got an unlock code for my device. But unfortunately when I try to insert a different SIM on it, it doesn't ask me for an unlock code. I tried to modify some of its xml files but nothing helps... I think this will work on those dongles you bought on year 2009 and below where upgrade on firmware is not yet available. Even changing its firmware failed. Good heavens it still works. Lesson learned: Don't buy usb dongles from Globe if you want to unlock it in the future or when it's warranty ends. I'll try my luck with my Sun Wireles...
